Overview
You will own the delivery and service of catered events at BASF's Florham Park location, ensuring every function runs without a hitch. You'll work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, setting up buffets, serving guests, and breaking down spaces to a spotless standard. What You'll Do10
- 1Assemble and deliver all food and supplies to scheduled catered functions on time and in full.
- 2Log food temperatures at every stage to maintain safety and quality standards.
- 3Arrange tables and decorations to match event specs and client expectations.
- 4Set up buffet lines with food, beverages, and service items, following FLIK standards.
- 5Serve food and beverages to guests with a friendly and courteous attitude throughout the shift.
- 6Thoroughly clean the event location after each function, leaving it neat and ready for the next use.
- 7Return leftover food, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility promptly.
- 8Distribute and collect customer comment cards to capture immediate feedback for improvement.
- 9Stock and maintain the catering facility and equipment, checking inventory and reporting needs.
- 10Follow all safety and sanitation policies, keeping the work environment clean and hazard-free.
Requirements9
- 11+ year of catering or banquet service experience preferred.
- 2Valid driver's license may be required for delivering to off-site locations.
- 3Possess or obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server permit within 30 days of hire.
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.
- 5Knowledge of banquet service standards and food safety protocols.
- 6Strong communication skills to coordinate with catering captains and clients.
- 7Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
- 8Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- 9Basic math skills for temperature logging and inventory counts.
