Overview
Leads strategy and execution for Technical Apparel & Accessories at Grundéns driving product story and commercial success. Owns category plan end to end shaping product narrative from market insight through go-to-market while partnering with Design Development Sales and Marketing.
What You'll Do16
- 1Own the category strategy and multi-season roadmap aligning with revenue margin and brand goals
- 2Set MSRP target FOB and margin establishing initial markup at line adoption
- 3Analyze sell-through market consumer and competitive data to identify risks whitespace and opportunities across channels
- 4Build differentiated category strategies strengthening Grundéns position feeding three-year plan
- 5Author clear product briefs covering consumer use case price point target cost margin launch season and volume hypothesis
- 6Own line architecture assortment planning including SKU adds drops color counts good-better-best structure and channel segmentation
- 7Manage commercial lifecycle decisions adding carrying over repricing retiring products with SKU productivity discipline and line-freeze gates
- 8Grow accessories line as attach and margin driver using same brief pricing and productivity discipline as apparel
- 9Maintain accurate line plans and product data in PLM and line-planning tools
- 10Partner with Design Development and Supply Chain to ensure on-time on-budget product execution
- 11Own seasonal go-to-market story including line reviews sales meetings sell-in tools seasonal workbooks web content and product training
- 12Contribute category insight to S&OP via forecast reads prebook analysis and inventory productivity work with demand planning
- 13Support key accounts and dealers within planned budget
- 14Represent consumer and end user throughout product lifecycle participating in field and wear testing
- 15Ensure products meet market expectations price targets and quality standards
- 16Present assortments with merchandising mindset influencing cross-functional decisions
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-7 years experience in apparel merchandising supporting category growth
- 3Technical apparel and/or outdoor industry experience strongly preferred
- 4Authentic connection to fishing boating or outdoors is a plus
- 5Experience translating market insights into practical product assortment recommendations
