Overview
Cashier role responsible for handling cash and transactions with accuracy at a hospital setting. Works overnight shift 12:00 A.M – 8:00 A.M, with alternate weekends and holidays. You will operate basic cashier machines, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of all payments at a large health system. What You'll Do5
- 1Build and maintain accurate cash handling records and reconciliations
- 2Operate cash registers and posting machines to record payments
- 3Count, verify, and secure cash and checks received for taxes and assessments
- 4Prepare reports and authorizations for changes in amounts due, delinquent lists, and refunds
- 5Deposit receipts as needed and ensure data entry accuracy with daily transactions
Requirements5
- 1A four year High School Diploma or its equivalent and one year of full-time experience dealing with sums of money
- 2Two years of full-time cashier experience or equivalent
- 3Must have at least one year of full-time cashier experience
- 4Typing 100 keystrokes or 20 words per minute
- 5Ability to use computer skills to complete daily work functions and data entry
