Overview
You will run the front counter at Schlotzsky's Deli in Bunker Hill, Houston, taking orders and owning the guest experience. You will enter orders into the POS system and maintain the dining room, drink station, and restrooms to brand standards. You will work with a tight team in a high-volume setting, handling cash transactions and supporting kitchen flow. This role offers employee discounts and flexible full-time or part-time schedules.
What You'll Do8
- 1Take customer orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
- 2Own the drink station, Cinnabon station, and dining room cleanliness, including restrooms.
- 3Follow Schlotzsky's policies and procedures for guest service and food safety.
- 4Work at the restaurant's speed of service guidelines to keep lines moving.
- 5Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers.
- 6Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, including full trash bags.
- 7Stand and walk throughout your shift, with bending, reaching, and kneeling as needed.
- 8Complete repetitive slicing motions with a sharp knife and handle hot food safely.

- 118+ years old to operate kitchen equipment.
- 2Proficiency in all guest service stations.
