Cash Clerk, Part-Time & Onsite in Philadelphia
Overview
Own and manage cash and credit processing daily for route sales in a part-time role. Collaborate with branch leadership to support clerical tasks and projects at Herr Foods Inc. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and verify daily cash and credit documents from route sales employees to ensure accuracy
- 2Process and finalize daily deposits and update customer invoices with timely follow-ups
- 3Organize and distribute route sales documents to Accounting and maintain documentation for audits
- 4Assist with new customer account setup information and communicate details to Accounting
- 5Post sales reports, prepare notices and keep route teams informed of status and numbers
- 6Answer multi-line phone calls, direct inquiries, and resolve customer concerns professionally
- 7Support branch meetings and coordination of quarterly kickoffs, safety and benefit meetings
- 8Enter load requests for route sales employees and manage uniforms and expense records
- 9Utilize Microsoft Office to prepare presentations, memos, and correspondence
- 10Participate in special projects and provide administrative support to branch initiatives
Requirements10
- 1Part-time, approximately 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday 11 am to 5 pm
- 2Proficient with Microsoft Office package
- 3Experience with processing cash, deposits, and invoices preferred
- 4Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity and professional demeanor
- 5Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up with route sales employees
- 6Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 7Ability to perform other related duties as required
- 8Ability to work onsite in Philadelphia, PA
- 9Experience in a retail or distribution environment preferred
- 10Must be eligible to work in the United States
