Overview
You will own occupational health services at DISA Global Solutions: performing drug and alcohol collections, pulmonary function tests, respirator fit tests, audiometric exams, blood draws, vaccinations, physical assessments, and X-Rays for clients. You join a team of 800+ across 30 locations, serving 40,000 customers and 6 million orders annually. Your work directly supports DOT compliance and OSHA standards. What You'll Do10
- 1Perform drug screen collections following DOT specimen collection guidelines.
- 2Treat occupational injuries and perform physical assessments per DOT/FMCSA and OSHA standards.
- 3Capture X-Rays for medical purposes with state certification.
- 4Administer breath alcohol tests using Intoximeter evidential breath testers (Alco-Sensor IV, RBT IV) under DOT guidelines.
- 5Collect hair samples following Psychemedics procedures.
- 6Conduct pulmonary function tests with Spiro USB systems per OSHA guidelines.
- 7Run audiometric tests and respirator fit tests using TSI Portacount per OSHA standards.
- 8Perform blood draws via venipuncture and finger stick; administer vaccinations.
- 9Review MEQs and patient records confidentially; enter data into DISAWorks® database.
- 10Stay reachable by phone and email for service center personnel after hours.
Requirements7
- 1Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice.
- 2Valid state license as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner.
- 3FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner to perform DOT physicals.
- 41-3 years of experience in drug screening, breath alcohol testing, pulmonary function, fit testing, audiometrics, vaccinations, physicals, urgent care, and X-Rays.
- 5State certification for medical X-Rays.
- 6Bilingual skills.
- 7Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
