What You'll Do10
- 1Frame steel studs and general framing for commercial construction.
- 2Install and finish drop ceilings and acoustical ceilings to spec.
- 3Fit doors, windows, and hardware with precision.
- 4Read blueprints and translate them into accurate cuts and installs.
- 5Measure, cut, and fit studs, panels, and trim using hand tools.
- 6Complete window and glass installations safely.
- 7Deliver finish carpentry with clean, professional results.
- 8Follow site leadership instructions and apply feedback to refine methods.
- 9Wear PPE and comply with all site safety rules, including no phone use.
- 10Clock in and out at designated locations and carry valid ID.
Requirements10
- 15+ years as a commercial carpenter with framing and finish work.
- 2Expert in steel stud framing and general framing.
- 3Proven installation of drop ceilings and acoustical ceilings.
- 4Skilled in door installation, alignment, and hardware fitting.
- 5Experience with window installation and glass work.
- 6Read blueprints and construction drawings accurately.
- 7Precise measuring and cutting with standard carpentry tools.
- 8OSHA 30 certification required.
- 9Comfortable working on large, multi-floor projects and multiple sites.
- 10Reliable punctuality for 6:45 a.m. arrival and a full productive day.
