You will provide one-on-one care for two Veteran clients in Lewisville, TX, with the option to combine schedules for 31 consistent weekly hours. What You'll Do8
- 1Provide personal care: assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
- 2Support mobility and walking, promoting safety and independence at home.
- 3Perform light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, organizing, and tidying to reduce fall risks.
- 4Prepare simple meals, encourage hydration, and assist with eating routines.
- 5Offer medication reminders and help maintain daily routines and recovery goals.
- 6Build rapport through conversation and activities, offering companionship and encouragement.
- 7Document care notes accurately and communicate updates to the care coordination team.
- 8Follow client care plans and agency policies while monitoring and reporting condition changes.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of caregiving experience or a genuine passion to learn.
- 2Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 3Pass a background check and drug screen.
- 4Dependable, attentive, and compassionate demeanor.
- 5Ability to take initiative and provide exceptional client care.
- 6Comfort with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- 7Willingness to work with Veteran clients in a home setting.
