What You'll Do8
- 1Assist clients with transfers and mobility within their home, using proper techniques to ensure safety.
- 2Perform housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishes, laundry, and changing bed linens.
- 3Prepare meals and snacks according to each client's dietary instructions.
- 4Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments, providing reliable transportation.
- 5Support personal hygiene by assisting with bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving.
- 6Provide medication reminders and help with prescribed range of motion exercises.
- 7Engage clients in companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
- 8Deliver dementia care with patience and empathy, adapting to each client's needs.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- 2Ability to lift and move 50 lbs without assistance.
- 3Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- 4Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
- 5Pass a background check.
- 6CNA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.
