What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee daily Cardiac device program operations
- 2Manage cardiac implantable device emergency management and bedside clinical care
- 3Act as technical expert for Cardiac Device supplies and policies
- 4Coordinate patient procedures and vendor contacts
- 5Integrate patient preferences into care delivery
- 6Utilize clinical decision support tools to modify care plans
- 7Provide patient and family education based on learning needs
- 8Coordinate discharge planning for patients with implanted devices
- 9Plan and deliver nursing care that is safe and financially responsible
- 10Participate in developing cardiac device programs and educate staff
- 11Consult with interdisciplinary teams and financial managers
Requirements11
- 15+ years of clinical nursing experience
- 24 years of specialty nursing experience in Cardiac Transplant or VAD
- 3Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
- 4Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- 5Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 1 year of hire
- 6Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- 7Ability to pass Basic Windows Skills Assessment within 30 days
- 8Experience with AWS Certified professionals
- 9Knowledge of Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization within 1 year
- 10Commitment to professional development and leadership growth
- 11Experience with Lean work environment principles
