Overview
As a Cabinet Installer at The US Home Pro, you own kitchen transformations end-to-end, refacing and installing cabinets across Columbus, Ohio. You report directly to the Project Manager and work with a crew that values precision and clean job sites. This role stands out because you shape finished kitchens daily, with training available for custom shop techniques.
What You'll Do8
- 1Arrive at job sites on time and check in with the Project Manager before starting each day's tasks.
- 2Follow Project Manager instructions and send progress updates daily to keep the project on track.
- 3Apply veneer on cabinet boxes and install end panels, doors, and drawer fronts to factory spec.
- 4Drill hinge holes and mount roll-out trays, ensuring smooth operation on every drawer.
- 5Modify existing cabinets to fit new layouts, cutting and installing crown molding with tight seams.
- 6Install new cabinets, leveling each unit and securing them to walls and floors for structural integrity.
- 7Keep the work area clean and organized, removing debris and protecting surfaces throughout the install.
- 8Complete each job right the first time, inspecting alignment and hardware before calling it done.
Requirements6
- 1Reliable transportation to job sites across the Columbus metro area, with a valid driver's license.
- 2Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, and work on knees or ladders as needed.
- 3Strong work ethic with a track record of finishing quality projects on schedule.
- 41+ years of experience in cabinet refacing or installation, preferred but training available.
- 5Working knowledge of cabinet layouts, terminology, and common hardware systems.
- 6Experience in custom shop work, including veneer application and crown molding, a plus.
