Overview

Own the parts and materials supply chain for assigned line stations, ensuring aircraft maintenance needs are met through stock transfers, procurements, and vendor coordination. Allegiant operates a growing fleet across the US, and this role keeps critical components available at the lowest achievable cost. You will track inventory by tail number, respond to EPR requests, and manage purchase orders from sourcing through delivery. Working onsite in Las Vegas, you will collaborate with Maintenance Control and station managers to resolve parts issues before they impact the operation. This role offers the chance to directly influence fleet reliability and cost efficiency, with visibility across maintenance and logistics.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Track aircraft assigned to each station by tail number and maintain inventory effective to those tails and sub-fleets.
  • 2Perform interactive parts assessments for requested parts on specific aircraft via Airbusworld, TSM, AMM, and Engineering Order review.
  • 3Respond to parts requests received via Electronic Parts Request (EPR) within required timelines, confirming receipt and reviewing accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
  • 4Procure parts through the most beneficial method: transfer available stock, expedite from repair vendor, execute loan/borrow, or submit RFQ for purchase or core exchange.
  • 5Analyze vendor quotations for cost, tag age, part condition, and lead time, then select the option that meets operational deadlines.
  • 6Generate inventory purchase orders and determine optimal shipping methods, including comail, FedEx, freight, or courier, based on logistical analysis.
  • 7Communicate part status, PO numbers, and expected arrival times to requestors and Maintenance Control, updating the Parts Status spreadsheet before morning meetings.
  • 8Monitor parts movements from shipping through receipt, ensuring proper handling and inspection per AIS procedures and the GMM.
  • 9Maintain MIN/MAX levels at assigned stations, generating purchase orders to keep stock at or above minimum levels.
  • 10Conduct competitive sourcing for Beyond Economic Repair rotables using AeroXchange or ILS, track part usage versus anticipated, and develop vendor relationships for savings.

Requirements10

  • 11+ year of related experience as a Buyer, Purchasing or Procurement Agent, Commodity Analyst, or Repair Analyst.
  • 2Bachelor's Degree in an Aviation program, Finance, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, or Business.
  • 3Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
  • 4Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
  • 5Strong intellect and aptitude to manage multiple varied activities.
  • 6Effective communication skills and ability to prioritize and problem solve.
  • 7Preferred: familiarity with engineering, finance, accounting, and statistics.
  • 8Preferred: knowledge of Aircraft Systems and AIS.
  • 9Ability to develop and process analytic information.
  • 10Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
