Business Systems Consultant, Technology Resiliency
Overview
You will own business continuity and resiliency planning for technology domains at Wells Fargo, supporting incident response and risk mitigation across a global enterprise. You will partner with business and technology teams to maintain BCPs, run BIAs, and drive exercises that keep critical systems resilient. Your work directly shapes how the organization prepares for and responds to disruptions, with visibility into senior leadership and regulatory interactions. This role offers a hybrid schedule and requires 4+ years of technology experience, with EBCRP certification a key foundation.
What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct BIAs with functional managers, validating dependencies and documenting artifacts in the BCP system of record.
- 2Perform risk assessments, identifying gaps and driving mitigation plans to closure.
- 3Manage and maintain Business Continuity Plans for service offerings and technology plans, ensuring timely updates.
- 4Plan and execute BCP exercises, serving as the central point of contact and tracking completion.
- 5Facilitate Recovery Team meetings, clarifying interim processing and recovery roles.
- 6Monitor plan health via ongoing reporting and issue tracking, resolving quality findings.
- 7Participate in enterprise resiliency governance and support incident response through the EICC process.
- 8Prepare documentation and regulatory responses, collaborating with auditors and technology partners.
Requirements10
- 14+ years of Business Systems Data experience or equivalent.
- 24+ years of technology experience.
- 3Experience managing medium technology development efforts.
- 4Ability to influence senior management across organizational levels.
- 5Knowledge of technology risks and business risk integration.
- 6Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- 7Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- 8Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- 9EBCRP certification maintained and up to date.
- 10Hybrid work schedule and occasional nights/weekends for exercises.
