Branch Manager, Car Rental Operations
Overview
You own the P&L and market growth for multiple branches at SIXT USA in Lincoln Park, driving revenue and profitability. You lead a team of Rental Sales Agents and Fleet Service Agents, manage a fleet of 350,000 vehicles, and uphold a premium customer service culture. You report to regional managers and collaborate with the Talent team on recruiting. This role offers a company car, branch bonus plan, and access to SIXTgpt and Claude by Anthropic from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own branch budgets, sales targets, and market penetration across multiple locations, increasing revenue and profitability.
- 2Lead and develop Management Trainees, Rental Sales Agents, and Fleet Service Agents through performance reviews and coaching.
- 3Recruit new team members with the Talent team, coaching other managers on hiring best practices.
- 4Manage the vehicle fleet, including defleets and corporate CI, delegating tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- 5Handle customer complaints and work with regional managers to streamline processes, ensuring top-tier service.
- 6Drive premium customer experience by modeling service standards and resolving escalations quickly.
- 7Track daily operational metrics, adjusting staffing and fleet allocation to meet demand.
- 8Use Claude by Anthropic and SIXTgpt to analyze performance data and generate actionable insights.
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree with 2+ years (junior) or 3+ years (senior) in sales and customer service, plus 2 years in a supervisory role.
- 25+ years of work experience without a degree, including 2 years as a manager in car rental or similar field.
- 3Proven ability to lead teams and communicate clearly, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- 4Highly organized with excellent customer service aptitude.
- 5Valid driver's license with a clean record and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- 6Flexibility to work day or evening shifts.
- 7Must be at least 18 years old.
