Branch Leader, Small Business & Community Banking
Overview
Lead a Truist branch in Indian Trail, NC, owning all aspects of performance from team development to business growth. You will drive revenue through Small Business and Mass Affluent strategies, build community presence, and ensure operational excellence. Partner with IRM and operations to deliver a One Team culture. What You'll Do7
- 1Drive branch performance by coaching and leading a team of 5-10 banking professionals, setting clear goals and holding teammates accountable.
- 2Grow Small Business revenue through face-to-face client appointments, outbound calling, and community prospecting, leveraging CRM tools to track pipeline.
- 3Build Mass Affluent relationships by conducting client meetings and using relationship management strategies to deepen share of wallet.
- 4Execute branch engagement routines that reinforce the Purpose, Mission, and Values, motivating your team to achieve financial success for clients.
- 5Partner with IRM and operations to ensure compliance with bank procedures, internal controls, and the Truist Code of Ethics, completing all required training.
- 6Own human capital decisions including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for your entire branch team.
- 7Represent Truist in the community by participating in civic and business groups, building the brand and prospecting new business opportunities.
Requirements8
- 12+ years in financial services with consumer and Small Business expertise, or equivalent performance.
- 21+ year of branch leadership or management experience, including coaching and team development.
- 3Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and training.
- 4Strong interpersonal, sales relationship, and prioritization skills.
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 6Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days, including NMLS background check.
- 7Proven ability to inspire and lead others, with a track record of achieving sales goals.
- 8Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Banking, or completion of internal leadership development programs.
