Overview
You will own local box truck deliveries for Spectra Transportation in Houston, Texas, moving goods with precision and punctuality. You will handle manual handling and material handling equipment like pallet jacks while ensuring DOT compliance and safety. Your team relies on your route skills to serve clients professionally. What You'll Do7
- 1Operate box trucks for local deliveries, hitting every destination on time with DOT compliance.
- 2Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and pallet jacks.
- 3Conduct pre-trip inspections to keep vehicles in compliance with DOT standards.
- 4Follow routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.

- 6Log deliveries and route data using mobile devices and digital tools.
- 7Assist warehouse operations by moving inventory and supporting manual handling tasks.
Requirements7
- 11+ years in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier roles with box trucks or similar vehicles.
- 2Valid driver's license with a clean record; CDL or equivalent preferred.
- 3Experience with manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
- 4Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices.
- 5Ability to handle heavy loads using pallet jacks or material handling equipment.
- 6Strong organizational skills for route planning and delivery scheduling.
- 7Excellent communication skills for customer and team interactions.
