Overview

The Bioassay Analyst owns and executes cell-based bioassays and surrogate ELISA assays in a GMP environment at scale, contributing to method transfer and data integrity. You will work on analytics teams within a global life sciences company, collaborating with internal and external clients. This role offers exposure to method qualification, data verification, and electronic recordkeeping, at a company with a broad portfolio of analytical methods.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build cell-based bioassays and surrogate ELISA assays in plate formats in GMP conditions and ensure data integrity
  • 2Design and execute qualification and transfer of analytical test methods in GMP settings
  • 3Document all laboratory work in notebooks and electronic systems and perform data verification reviews
  • 4Communicate final results through electronic reporting and systems
  • 5Support data integrity checks, deviations, and CAPA as part of the quality system
  • 6Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines and client expectations
  • 7Maintain accurate records, adhere to company policies, and participate in internal and external audits
  • 8Contribute to continuous improvement of assay performance and workflow efficiency
  • 9Train junior staff on assay techniques and GMP procedures
  • 10Assist in the interpretation of assay results for decision making within development and QA teams

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in life science (chemistry, biology, or related) with 2 to 4 years of directly related industry experience or an MS degree with up to 2 years of related experience
  • 2Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • 3Experience with reporter-gene assays and cell biology skills such as culturing, counting, and banking
  • 4GMP quality system and lab operations experience
  • 5Excellent oral and written communication and attention to detail
  • 6Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients
  • 7Ability to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • 8Commitment to flexibility to work overtime as needed
