Bilingual Physician Virtual Urgent Care
Overview
You will deliver virtual urgent care to Oscar Health members across multiple states, using audio, video, and written communication. You will report to the Medical Director and work with a care team of nurses, medical assistants, and behavioral health clinicians. This remote role requires Spanish fluency and a compact license or eligibility. You will shape patient care workflows and product features from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose and treat patients in a virtual setting, using audio, video, and written tools
- 2Escalate complex cases to Physicians or Advanced Practice Leads on the care team
- 3Order and follow up on labs and imaging, closing loops with patients and providers
- 4Conduct virtual exams with remote monitoring equipment and point-of-care diagnostics
- 5Collaborate with registered nurses, medical assistants, and behavioral health clinicians in a shared care model
- 6Participate in huddles and case conferences to coordinate patient care
- 7Provide feedback to improve operational workflows and product features
- 8Comply with applicable laws and regulations in all practice states
Requirements8
- 1MD/DO from an accredited program
- 2Board Certification in ER, FM, or IM
- 3Spanish fluency (read, write, speak)
- 43+ years in outpatient urgent care or emergency department
- 52+ years delivering virtual care or telemedicine
- 6Current license in TX, TN, FL, GA, OH, or NJ (at least three of six)
- 7Willingness to obtain additional licenses in Oscar states with vendor support
- 8Compact license from IMLCC or eligibility for a compact license
