You will own repairs and maintenance for Veo's electric bike and scooter fleet in Salt Lake City, keeping hundreds of vehicles road-ready. Join a tight-knit ops team that supports electric vehicles across 60+ cities. This role pairs hands-on mechanical work with field tasks, and you'll directly contribute to sustainable transit. No EV experience needed, just a knack for fixing things.
What You'll Do6
- 1Diagnose and repair electric bikes and scooters, from bolt tightening to motor replacement
- 2Conduct quality checks and routine inspections to meet safety standards
- 3Log and track maintenance records using internal systems
- 4Monitor spare parts inventory and reorder as needed
- 5Keep the warehouse organized and set a clean example
- 6Swap batteries and redistribute vehicles in the field as needed
Requirements7
- 11+ years in maintenance or auto repair
- 2Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull bikes and scooters up to 80 lbs
- 3Problem-solving mindset and self-motivation
- 4Comfort with smartphone apps for navigation and logging
- 5Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 6Nice to have: experience with bikes, scooters, motorcycles, or automotive repair
- 7Nice to have: basic electronics knowledge
