What You'll Do10
- 1Drive the beverage cart around the course and offer beverages, snacks, and basic merchandise to golfers in a timely and courteous manner
- 2Load, unload, and restock the cart daily with ice, beverages, and food items and communicate low stock to management
- 3Accurately process payments using the POS system, handle cash transactions, and reconcile daily sales reports
- 4Adhere to local and state liquor laws, monitor alcohol consumption, and identify guests who may be intoxicated
- 5Perform basic vehicle inspections at shift start and end and maintain a clean, organized cart
- 6Provide members and guests with friendly information about course layout, events, and Club amenities
- 7Observe proper golf course etiquette to avoid disrupting play while navigating the course
- 8Deliver exceptional hospitality while maintaining a professional and cheerful demeanor in all interactions
- 9Ensure inventory control and safe handling of items on a motorized cart
- 10Support team with a positive attitude and readiness to assist during busy periods
Requirements10
- 1Must meet state minimum age to serve alcohol
- 2Valid driver's license to operate the motorized cart
- 3Valid food handler's card or alcohol service certification (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS, or Smart Serve) as required by local law
- 4Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift 25–50 lbs
- 5Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- 6Basic math proficiency for handling cash and calculating change
- 7Proficiency with POS systems and ability to learn new software quickly
- 8Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- 9Preferred: experience in hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles
- 10Preferred: familiarity with golf course operations, etiquette, and terminology
