Behavior Assistant (RBT) for ABA Therapy
Overview
As a Behavior Assistant in the Greater Boston area, you will work 1:1 with children with autism implementing ABA strategies under the guidance of a BCBA. You will join a supportive team of therapists and clinical supervisors at Positive Behavior Supports Corporation, a dedicated ABA provider founded in 2007. Your role is entry-level, with clear growth paths to RBT and Student Analyst roles, and you can access complimentary RBT training. What You'll Do6
- 1Work 1:1 with children with autism using ABA techniques under the supervision of a BCBA
- 2Implement individualized treatment plans designed and trained by a BCBA
- 3Collect and record data on client progress using PBS tracking tools
- 4Communicate with families and clinical teams to ensure client success
- 5Attend scheduled supervisions, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions
- 6Engage clients in meaningful activities, adapting to their needs during sessions
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
- 2Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally as required
- 3Ability to actively engage clients during sessions, including sitting on the floor and transitioning from sitting to standing unassisted
- 41+ years of experience in ABA therapy, childcare, education, or related field preferred
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 6Willingness to complete complimentary 40-hour RBT training
