What You'll Do8
- 1Mix and serve drinks using standard recipes with portion control to maintain consistency and cost margins.
- 2Check IDs and cut off intoxicated guests per state liquor laws and TIPS-style training.
- 3Stock the bar with beer, wine, spirits, and garnishes each shift to keep stations ready.
- 4Prepare fresh juices and fruit garnishes daily, storing them at proper temperatures to ensure quality.
- 5Process cash and card payments, verify charges, and record vouchers for accurate end-of-shift settlement.
- 6Clean and sanitize the bar area, glassware, and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
- 7Arrange bottles and glassware for a visually appealing display that draws guest attention.
- 8Secure all inventory, cash drops, and the bank at close to protect assets and prevent loss.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of bartending in a high-volume setting, with POS and cash handling experience.
- 2Knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations for serving alcohol responsibly.
- 3Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift 25 lbs of ice and supply cases.
- 4Weekend availability is mandatory, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 AM.
- 5Must obtain a food handler card and pass a background check before starting.
- 6Proof of legal age to serve alcohol in Minnesota, with ID verification at hire.
