Overview
Barista role at Eurest in Detroit, onsite, full-time. You’ll craft coffee and espresso beverages for customers, help maintain a clean and organized cafe, and deliver a friendly guest experience. Work week is Monday through Friday mornings with weekend availability. No remote options.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build espresso drinks and related foods using standard recipes
- 2Operate the POS system and handle cash and card payments accurately
- 3Restock condiments and supplies while keeping the service area clean
- 4Maintain proper serving temperatures and follow HACCP guidelines
- 5Keep all equipment and utensils sanitary and orderly
- 6Explain daily menu items to customers and assist in buying decisions
- 7Merchandise display foods attractively and ensure quick service
- 8Greet customers and relay concerns to supervisors
- 9Assure quick, accurate service and minimize delays in lines
- 10Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements5
- 1Must be able to work Monday–Friday mornings with weekend availability
- 2Coffee experience preferred and hospitality experience required
- 3Full-time position with benefits including health and wellness programs
- 4Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
