Overview
You will own bar support and service bartending at Haywire, a high-volume Texas restaurant known for heritage recipes and local spirits. You will set up the bar, polish glassware, and craft hand-tooled cocktails that match our TABC and Food Handler standards. You will work with a team that values showmanship and precision, supporting bartenders across a busy service floor. What You'll Do9
- 1Set up and break down the bar each shift, including stocking glassware, spirits, and mixers to TABC standards.
- 2Craft hand-tooled cocktails from our menu, using heritage recipes and local Texas spirits.
- 3Support bartenders by anticipating needs for wine, beer, and ice, keeping stations fully stocked during service.
- 4Polish and maintain glassware to ensure a flawless presentation for every pour.
- 5Interact with guests to answer questions about our whiskey, wine, and beer selections.
- 6Maintain a clean and organized bar area, following health and safety guidelines for Food Handler certification.
- 7Assist with inventory counts and rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- 8Learn and execute the balance of showmanship and efficiency during peak shifts.
- 9Uphold the brand's standards of hospitality and attention to detail in every interaction.
Requirements7
- 11+ year experience in a restaurant or bar setting.
- 2Current TABC Certification and Food Handler's Certification.
- 3Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- 4Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds.
- 5At least 18 years of age.
- 6Deep knowledge or willingness to learn whiskey, wine, and beer.
- 7Eligibility to work in the U.S. via E-Verify.
