What You'll Do11
- 1Design and deliver banquet menus using Python and React to enhance guest experience
- 2Lead a team of staff to set up and organize work areas with all necessary supplies
- 3Inspect, rotate, and store food products to maintain freshness and quality
- 4Prepare and store raw ingredients following strict sanitation standards
- 5Follow portion control guidelines and minimize waste during service
- 6Plate cold foods according to presentation standards and monitor delivery timeliness
- 7Maintain refrigeration temperatures and sanitize work surfaces regularly
- 8Operate kitchen equipment safely and report hazards immediately
- 9Promote teamwork and resolve problems promptly
- 10Execute emergency procedures and comply with safety regulations
- 11Clean and break down work area at shift end
Requirements10
- 15+ years building banquet operations with Spark and Airflow
- 2Post Secondary culinary training/certification as "Cook" from a recognized school
- 3One year experience cooking in an upscale high‑volume hotel or restaurant
- 4Thorough knowledge of Food Service Sanitation Standards
- 5Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- 6Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- 7High School Diploma or equivalent
- 8Experience with Kubernetes for scaling services
- 9Understanding of governmental food sanitation protocols
- 10Knowledge of team member development programs
