Ballistic Missile Defense Radar System Controller
Overview
The chosen individual will support technical tactical training efforts for ATGSD Fleet Battle Lab. This role is pivotal in ensuring ship operational readiness and effectiveness.
What You'll Do11
- 1Provide technical and tactical support for FBP FST-U STW and BMD distributed training to ships
- 2Validate and implement technical plans test plans and validate system functional operations
- 3Monitor and document event execution
- 4Develop scenario scripts for FBP FST-U STW and BMD distributed scenarios
- 5Distribute and conduct scenarios for the ATGSD Battle Lab Modeling and Simulations operations center
- 6Set-up and configure battle lab distributed live or virtual events
- 7Conduct post-briefings and produce detailed after-action reports including technical feedback
- 8Schedule and conduct monthly Fleet AIC training
- 9Own and scale radar systems using Aegis BMD Radar doctrine
- 10Drive debugging and debugging processes
- 11Deliver training and instruction
Requirements11
- 1Existing SECRET Security Clearance required prior to hire
- 2At least six years of experience conducting shipboard BMD watch-team training or recent in-depth experience conducting BMD exercises training or operations
- 3Experience with scenario development training operation with Joint Semi Automated Forces JSAF and Multi-System Automated Remote-Control Interface MARCI
- 4Qualified as an RSC on an Aegis BMD or equivalent platform
- 5Proven ability to develop and employ Aegis BMD Radar doctrine instructor trainer or operational experience on a BMD configured Aegis ship or BMD command agency
- 6Completed BMD deployment certification training
- 7Excellent communication skills
