Overview
You will lead the design, implementation, and security of enterprise-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platforms. Your expertise drives cloud automation and platform optimization across Azure infrastructure. You collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to set architecture standards and deliver scalable, resilient containerized solutions. You own the platform roadmap, ensuring reliability and performance for critical applications.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and deploy AKS clusters with infrastructure as code using Terraform and Bicep.
- 2Implement and enforce security policies for AKS, including Azure Policy and Kubernetes RBAC.
- 3Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for containerized workloads.
- 4Optimize cluster performance and cost through resource tuning and autoscaling strategies.
- 5Drive observability by integrating Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor for metrics and logs.
- 6Lead migration of legacy applications to AKS and modernize deployment patterns.
- 7Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and debug application issues in Kubernetes.
- 8Establish and document platform operational practices, including backup and disaster recovery.
Requirements8
- 15+ years as an Azure DevOps Engineer or platform engineer with deep AKS experience.
- 23+ years hands-on Kubernetes administration in production environments.
- 3Proficiency with Terraform and Bicep for infrastructure automation.
- 4Strong Azure networking and identity management skills (VNet, NSG, Azure AD).
- 5Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- 6Knowledge of container security, including image scanning and policy enforcement.
- 7Ability to write scripts in PowerShell or Bash for automation.
- 8Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
