Overview
Lead cybersecurity operations and strategy for Health and Life Sciences business units ensuring confidentiality integrity and availability of sensitive data. Oversee application security infrastructure security SOC operations incident response and third party risk management. Drive resilient security programs and mentor teams.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and scale security frameworks using AWS Azure and Kubernetes
- 2Design secure systems and cloud environments while integrating DevSecOps practices
- 3Own SOC operations threat detection and secure design of applications
- 4Conduct enterprise risk assessments and ensure compliance with HIPAA HITECH FedRAMP SOC 2 ISO 27001 and PCI DSS
- 5Coordinate audits vendor risk assessments and penetration testing
- 6Lead incident response efforts from technical containment to executive communications
- 7Partner with IT DevOps and business units to embed security into technology and processes
- 8Provide technical consultation and training fostering a culture of security awareness
- 9Analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable security strategies
- 10Advocate for privacy best practices supporting Responsible AI initiatives
- 11Evaluate emerging privacy technologies and contribute to open source tools
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience with deep expertise in HIPAA HITECH and HITRUST
- 2Equivalent experience or relevant degree in cybersecurity information systems or related field
- 3Advanced certifications such as CISSP CISM or a master's degree in related discipline
- 4Proven success shaping security strategies that improve patient data protection and regulatory alignment
- 5Strong executive communication skills leading workshops building consensus and influencing stakeholders
- 6Familiarity with Generative AI Copilot Gemini and implications for security governance and risk management
- 7Experience with agile methodologies design thinking and collaborative solution development
- 8Ability to conduct market research translating insights into security strategies
- 9Passion for mentoring knowledge sharing and continuous learning
