What You'll Do11
- 1Partner with cross‑functional teams to define autonomy software behaviors
- 2Architect, document, and decompose design decisions into requirements verification and validation activities
- 3Support code reviews and validate software behavior via simulation data analysis Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop testing and hardware testing
- 4Develop and run data analysis pipelines
- 5Drive release readiness decisions by assessing autonomy changes for safety performance and stakeholder needs
- 6Coordinate with avionics teams to integrate autonomy software into flight and ground systems
- 7Define procedures and command sequences for rocket ground testing and operations
- 8Triage investigate and resolve software issues using test data on an aggressive schedule
- 9Rapidly develop tooling scripts and functions to address emergent issues
- 10Provide real‑time support for hot fire tests and missions in the support room
- 11Push for process improvements with ownership and urgency
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
- 25‑8 years experience with real‑time or safety‑critical software design analysis or integrated testing
- 3Proficiency with engineering physics software engineering and closed‑loop control principles
- 4Familiarity with systems engineering requirements decomposition verification validation and configuration management for model‑based design
- 5Experience programming in Python
- 6Strong technical documentation skills
- 7Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- 8Masters preferred
- 9Experience in C++ and developing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
