Overview
You will own diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on MINI and BMW vehicles at one of the busiest dealerships in the region. You will work in a Penske Auto Group shop with air-conditioned service bays and a 5-day work week. The team averages $82K to $125K+ annually with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using MINI diagnostic tools and OEM procedures
- 2Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections on MINI and BMW models
- 3Communicate with service advisors to explain repairs and recommend additional services
- 4Maintain ASE certification and stay current on MINI technical bulletins
- 5Document all work in the Penske service management system with accuracy
- 6Drive MINI vehicles for test drives and quality checks after repairs
- 7Keep work area clean and organized per dealership safety standards
- 8Mentor apprentice technicians and share best practices for efficient repairs
Requirements8
- 13+ years of automotive technician experience including diagnostics and brake repair
- 2MINI or BMW experience is a plus but not required
- 3Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 4ASE certification or ability to obtain within 1 year
- 5Own basic hand tools and scan tools
- 6Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- 7High school diploma or GED
- 8Willingness to work Saturdays and some evenings
