What You'll Do7
- 1Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services like oil changes and filter replacements.
- 2Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems to identify worn parts and safety issues.
- 3Install batteries and check electrical systems using diagnostic tools.
- 4Perform tire maintenance including rotations, balancing, and repairs.
- 5Install parts such as belts, hoses, and wiper blades.
- 6Road test vehicles to verify repair quality and performance.
- 7Obtain ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 within two years.
Requirements5
- 12 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational-technical school program.
- 2Valid driver's license with the ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
- 3Basic understanding of oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
- 4Ability to read, write, and perform basic math for service documentation.
- 5ASE certification or equivalent external qualifications preferred.
