Automotive Hood Technician
Overview
Lead full service oil change operations at Grease Monkey certified facility. Oversee bay management and ensure thorough completion of services while maintaining clean work areas.
What You'll Do8
- 1Perform all engine compartment services using Echo System and vehicle information tools
- 2Direct vehicle placement and conduct visual inspections of belts hoses and other components
- 3Replace oil filters and check fluid levels including transmission fluid battery electrolyte
- 4Deliver emissions components to center manager for customer presentation
- 5Execute additional services as needed and complete final safety checks
- 6Maintain center cleanliness through daily mopping window washing and litter removal
- 7Attend crew meetings and perform assigned errands
- 8Drive vehicles within the service area
Requirements8
- 1Minimum 1 year hood technician experience at auto shop
- 2Valid driver's license and ability to operate motor vehicles
- 3Strong mechanical hand tool proficiency
- 4Excellent attention to detail
- 5Physical stamina for standing walking climbing and lifting
- 6Basic literacy writing math and verbal communication skills
- 7Experience with emissions systems and fluid management
- 8Commitment to customer service excellence
