Overview
As a Porter at Schaumburg Toyota, you will drive, park, wash, and manage customer vehicles for a high-volume dealership. You will work with the service team to keep the lot organized and vehicles accessible. This role offers one of the highest pay rates in the area, plus health, dental, and 401(k) benefits. What You'll Do8
- 1Drive customer vehicles to designated parking areas, ensuring safe and efficient movement across the lot.
- 2Park vehicles in assigned spots, maintaining an organized layout for easy retrieval and display.
- 3Wash and clean vehicles, both interior and exterior, to uphold dealership presentation standards.
- 4Pull vehicles in and out of service bays, coordinating with technicians to keep workflow smooth.
- 5Inspect vehicles for damage and report any issues to management immediately.
- 6Assist with lot organization, including moving vehicles for display and special events.
- 7Maintain cleanliness of the service drive and lot, removing debris and ensuring safety.
- 8Support the service team with additional tasks as needed during peak hours.
Requirements8
- 1Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- 2Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- 31+ years of experience in a driving or parking role preferred.
- 4Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods in outdoor conditions.
- 5Attention to detail for vehicle condition and lot organization.
- 6Reliable transportation to and from work.
- 7Availability for evening shift 1pm-9pm, including some weekends except Sundays.
- 8High school diploma or equivalent.
