Auto Body Technician, Collision Repair & EV
Overview
You will own collision repair work at a growing shop in Long Island City, handling structural and cosmetic repairs on steel and aluminum vehicles. Our team uses modern equipment and provides paid training on EV technology. You will work closely with estimators and fellow technicians in a supportive environment that offers I-CAR certification and career advancement.
What You'll Do6
- 1Disassemble and reassemble vehicles during repairs, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
- 2Repair collision damage and replace body panels on steel and aluminum bodies.
- 3Perform structural and cosmetic body repairs using industry-standard equipment, including I-CAR methods.
- 4Follow repair procedures for modern vehicles, including electric vehicles, with paid training.
- 5Work closely with estimators and technicians to ensure accurate and timely repairs.
- 6Keep work area clean and organized, following safety protocols.
Requirements5
- 13-5 years of experience in collision repair or auto body work.
- 2Experience with steel and aluminum repairs is helpful.
- 3Ability to read and communicate in English (required).
- 4Valid Driver's License (required).
- 5I-CAR Certification (required, but paid training offered if not certified).
