What You'll Do10
- 1Build relationships with clients and pets to deliver preventative care and diagnostics
- 2Diagnose treat and perform surgery with collaboration from a dedicated support team
- 3Manage and work up cases efficiently ensuring thorough patient care within 30 minute appointments
- 4Communicate treatment plans clearly with clients and document outcomes
- 5Collaborate with doctors in a pair practice model and participate in case discussions
- 6Expand clinical skills in GP urgent care and exotic medicine as interests dictate
- 7Contribute to practice growth by maintaining high client satisfaction and retention
- 8Support mentorship programs for new graduates and junior staff
- 9Participate in continuing education and annual CVP training programs
- 10Uphold clinic standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements10
- 1DVM from an AVMA accredited program
- 2Active veterinary license in Florida or ability to obtain
- 3Interest or experience in general practice urgent care and exotics preferred
- 4Willingness to participate in mentorship of new graduates
- 5Strong communication and client relationship skills
- 6Ability to work Mon-Fri 8:00 AM 5:30 PM Sat 8:00 AM 12:00 PM
- 7Team player with collaborative mindset and strong work ethic
- 8Desire to practice medicine with autonomy within a supportive team
- 9Commitment to high quality patient care and ethical standards
- 10Eligible for or currently hold AVMA PLIT and DEA registration
