Associate General Counsel, Monetization Partnerships
Overview
You will own legal strategy for Meta's monetization products, including Meta Business Agent, Business Messaging, and Commerce, at global scale. You will join the Monetization Partnerships Legal team, partnering with Product, Engineering, Privacy, and Policy. Your work drives 0-to-1 partnerships and complex commercial deals from inception to launch. This role offers direct exposure to emerging legal and regulatory issues in AI and platform commerce.
What You'll Do6
- 1Provide strategic legal advice on Meta Business Agent and Commerce partnerships, building long-term approaches to key relationships.
- 2Draft and negotiate complex product and commercial transactions, including bespoke technology integrations.
- 3Lead 0-to-1 strategic partnerships, enabling new products and features from inception through launch.
- 4Partner with Product, Engineering, Privacy, and Policy teams to resolve novel legal and regulatory issues.
- 5Administer and resolve legal issues in existing commercial relationships, including contract interpretation.
- 6Build scalable processes, templates, and playbooks for evaluating and executing sophisticated partnership opportunities.
Requirements6
- 18+ years of technology transactions experience at a global law firm or in-house at a tech company.
- 2Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. state or equivalent foreign bar.
- 3Experience drafting and negotiating technology licensing, product development, and platform integration deals.
- 4Ability to manage multiple projects and deals simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- 5Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Privacy, and Policy teams.
- 6Skill in communicating complex legal concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders through written memos and briefings.
Salary Insight
$202 - $274k per year
