Overview
Own the classroom support function in a licensed childcare setting and contribute to a safe, stimulating Pre-K program for daily student growth. What You'll Do7
- 1Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans
- 2Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement
- 3Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean, inviting learning environment
- 4Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belonging
- 5Assist in communicating with families about their child’s progress and daily activities
- 6Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment
- 7Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma required
- 2associate or bachelor s in Early Childhood Education preferred
- 3Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- 4Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- 5Basic understanding of child development
- 6Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 7Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
