Assistant Store Manager - Dollar Tree
Overview
We seek an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, enhance customer experiences, and develop teams at our Pittsburgh location. The ideal candidate will own daily functions, ensure compliance with policies, and drive improvements across all store areas.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own and execute store opening and closing procedures
- 2Assist with organizing and transferring inventory from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor
- 3Maintain promotional displays and seasonal area standards
- 4Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy and Task Compliance
- 5Supervise and train Store Associates to foster a positive work environment
- 6Ensure cleanliness and organization of sales floor and stockroom
- 7Protect company assets and adhere to safety guidelines
- 8Handle payroll scheduling and record keeping tasks
- 9Drive problem solving and decision making for daily challenges
- 10Collaborate with leadership to maintain high standards of service
- 11Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency
Requirements11
- 15+ years managing retail operations with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading teams in fast-paced environments
- 3High school diploma or equivalent required
- 4Ability to lift 55 lbs to overhead heights
- 5Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and staff
- 6Experience with POS systems and inventory management tools
- 7Proficiency in Excel for data tracking and reporting
- 8Commitment to safety protocols and ADA compliance
- 9Team player with exceptional customer service orientation
- 10Flexibility to adapt to changing store needs
- 11Detail-oriented approach to maintaining store standards
