Assistant Manager, Little Caesars Detroit
Overview
You will own shift operations at a busy Little Caesars location in Detroit, driving customer satisfaction and profit targets. You will lead a team of 5-10 crew members, ensuring food quality, speed, and safety standards. The role builds on 3+ years of restaurant experience and offers a path to Restaurant Manager. You will directly influence labor, food, and paper costs using POS dashboards and inventory systems.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead shift operations, assigning stations and coaching crew to meet Little Caesars speed and quality standards.
- 2Control food, paper, and labor costs by monitoring POS reports and adjusting deployment in real time.
- 3Direct and train new hires on safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring compliance with 18+ supervision rules.
- 4Audit ingredient levels and place orders through inventory software to prevent stockouts.
- 5Resolve customer issues on the spot, using service recovery techniques to turn complaints into loyalty.
- 6Drive drive-thru and counter throughput during peak hours, hitting service time targets.
- 7Complete end-of-shift paperwork, balancing cash drawers and filing shift reports.
- 8Coach employees on food handling and portion control, reducing waste and meeting yield goals.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of shift leadership in quick-service or fast-casual dining.
- 2Valid Food Handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- 3Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs.
- 4Basic math skills for cash reconciliation and inventory counts.
- 5Open availability including weekends and holidays.
- 6High school diploma or GED.
