Overview
You will own daily floor operations and group dining coordination for Foodworks Hospitality Group. Scale service standards across the floor while managing events and catering inquiries. You collaborate with the Group Dining Corporate Manager on event logistics. This role blends hands-on leadership with event planning, requiring adaptability and guest focus.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead floor operations, ensuring hosts and bussers are equipped and motivated. Set the pace for service standards and corporate procedures.
- 2Oversee shift coverage and staffing levels, adjusting workflows to maintain service flow.
- 3Drive guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly, building repeat visits.
- 4Spend 20% of time managing group dining and catering inquiries, from initial contact to execution.
- 5Track group dining inquiries and bookings, maintaining accurate records for reporting.
- 6Coordinate with kitchen and management to execute flawless events, aligning with Group Dining Corporate Manager.
- 7Train and develop staff through direct feedback, promoting professional growth.
- 8Deliver exceptional guest experiences by modeling service standards and coaching team members.
Requirements6
- 12+ years in hospitality management, preferably in a restaurant or event space.
- 2Strong leadership with focus on team development and guest satisfaction.
- 3Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 4Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced setting.
- 5Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 6Knowledge of catering and event management best practices preferred.
