- 1Manage and lead the deli team to maximize productivity and profit
- 2Oversee ordering inventory controls and product quality
- 3Coordinate production merchandising and sales through planning and teamwork
- 4Lead brainstorming sessions to improve product quality and customer service
- 5Hire teach train and develop the deli team
- 6Unload and sort store deliveries operate deli equipment
- 7Enforce health safety sanitation guidelines and train team members
- 8Maintain accurate personnel reports margin reports and sales numbers
- 9Ensure proper lifting techniques handling products up to 70 lbs
- 10Operate slicing wrapping and cooking equipment safely
- 11Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 18 years of age with 2 years supervisory experience
- 2Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- 3Outgoing friendly behavior and positive attitude
- 4Proven leadership ability to motivate staff
- 5Working knowledge of personnel reports margin reports and financial goals
- 6Food Safety certification
- 7Ability to lift carry products up to 70 lbs for extended periods
- 8Experience with slicer wrapping and cooking equipment
- 9Standing capability for 4 hour shifts totaling 8 hours
- 10Physical stamina for continuous standing during shifts
