The role owns assembling mechanical and electronic devices at a clean, climate-controlled factory in Indianapolis, with ergonomic, standing workstations. You will follow printed photos, instructions, bills of materials, and samples to build sub-assemblies and final assemblies using hand and power tools. This position emphasizes precise quality, steady output, and safety in a production setting.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build sub-assemblies and final assemblies at designated stations following printed work instructions and bills of material
  • 2Assemble devices including programming transmitters and using laser equipment per guidance
  • 3Operate hand and power tools safely to complete assembly tasks
  • 4Fabricate sub-components with appropriate tools to support the assembly process
  • 5Perform visual inspections during and after assembly to verify component placement and product integrity
  • 6Conduct functional testing and calibration of devices to ensure performance standards are met
  • 7Maintain accurate workstation inventory and communicate discrepancies or scrapped parts to team lead
  • 8Follow safety, quality, and Lean manufacturing practices including ergonomic workstation usage
  • 9Log data and access work instructions using basic computer systems
  • 10Work through shifts standing for extended periods and meet productivity targets

Requirements10

  • 1High attention to detail and quality oriented with excellent manual dexterity
  • 2Experience using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers and torque wrenches
  • 3Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow work instructions
  • 4Basic math skills and comfort with measurement units
  • 5Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and production-related software
  • 6Experience with mechanical, electronic, and electrical assembly tasks such as wiring and soldering
  • 7Willingness to wear steel-toed or composite safety shoes and receive boot voucher after conversion
  • 8Previous assembly experience in manufacturing or production environments
  • 9Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings
  • 10Comfort working in cleanroom, packaging, or general production settings
