Armed Security Supervisor, Los Angeles
Overview
You will lead armed security operations across Los Angeles and surrounding cities, maintaining a strong-armed presence to deter unauthorized activity and ensure site safety. You will work swing or graveyard shifts, conducting foot patrols and access control at high-traffic properties. You will coordinate with property management and team members to enforce rules and respond to incidents. This role offers immediate scheduling after interview, internal promotion paths, and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.
What You'll Do9
- 1Maintain a strong-armed presence to deter unauthorized activity and enhance safety across assigned sites
- 2Conduct continuous foot patrols and maintain high visibility across the property during swing and graveyard shifts
- 3Perform access control and ensure only approved individuals are allowed entry
- 4Use scanning equipment to document checkpoint activity as required
- 5Detect, observe, and report suspicious persons, behavior, or hazards promptly
- 6Communicate effectively with team members and property management to coordinate security efforts
- 7Submit clear, detailed incident and activity reports after each shift
- 8Support emergency protocols and enforce property rules and regulations
- 9Report broken equipment or potential safety/security issues immediately
Requirements9
- 1Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required)
- 2Valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (Required)
- 3Must own your duty weapon
- 4Reliable transportation and a working smartphone
- 5Fluent in English – verbal and written
- 6Physically capable of standing/walking for 8+ hours per shift
- 7Great customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- 8Attention to detail and professionalism under pressure
- 9Minimum 1 year of contract security experience (Preferred)
