Overview
Armed Security Officer transit role providing visible presence and rapid response in a multi-tenant transit environment. What You'll Do4
- 1Build authoritativeness through regular armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to deter incidents.
- 2Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with transit personnel and emergency services as needed.
- 3Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized access, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
- 4Prepare clear and accurate incident and patrol reports in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
Requirements9
- 1Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree
- 2Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent
- 3Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience
- 4Hold an armed guard card or license
- 5Be at least 21 years of age
- 6Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- 7Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 8Background check and drug screen as part of employment process
- 9Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
