Armed Driver Guard, Cash Logistics
Overview
As an Armed Driver Guard, you own the secure pickup and delivery of cash, coin, and valuables across a network of 200 branches for Loomis. You team up with a crew to service ATMs and Smart Safes, load and unload armored vehicles, and maintain chain of custody. This role offers a path to management, with many company leaders starting as driver guards. You gain paid training for firearms and security qualifications, including the Medical Examiners Certificate.
What You'll Do6
- 1Drive automatic armored vehicles on designated routes, servicing customer locations with precision and safety.
- 2Service ATMs and Smart Safes, including cash replenishment and retrieval.
- 3Deliver change orders and pick up deposits at customer stops, counting and verifying all cargo.
- 4Load and unload vehicle cargo, handling multiple bags and boxes of coins weighing up to 50 lbs.
- 5Count, record, and sign for cargo items to maintain accurate inventory.
- 6Follow all security protocols and maintain a clean driving record while operating under DOT regulations.
Requirements6
- 121+ years of age.
- 23+ years of driving record.
- 3Ability to obtain Medical Examiners Certificate via US DOT approved examiner.
- 4Valid firearms permit or ability to pass state firearms requirements; Loomis covers certifications.
- 5Pass Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) including lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing 47 lbs of force.
- 6Full-time schedule: 40-50 hours/week, with occasional weekends.
