Join 1X as a Staff Software Engineer to design and ship AI world models for humanoid robots. You will own AI integration across the NEO platform while scaling infrastructure for diverse developers. This role drives production features from data collection to inference.

- 2Create rigorous evaluation data pipelines and captioning APIs integrated into simulators and robot hardware

Requirements5
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with significant production ML/AI system background
- 2Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills with experience building scalable testable software
- 3Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML frameworks and cloud deployment
- 4Clear communication and ability to lead projects independently
- 5Domain experience in robotics or robotics-related fields
