Ammonia Refrigeration Technician, Commercial & Industrial
Overview
You will own service, maintenance, and repair for commercial and industrial ammonia refrigeration systems across a dedicated territory in Atlanta, Georgia. You will diagnose and fix walk-ins, reach-ins, display cases, ice machines, and integrated control systems, with no two days alike. You will join a tight-knit team that values independence and technical problem-solving, with consistent overtime pushing total pay to $180k+ per year. What You'll Do7
- 1Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-ins, reach-ins, and display cases
- 2Service and maintain ice machines and similar equipment across multiple sites
- 3Troubleshoot integrated controls and larger systems as your experience grows
- 4Complete service calls and preventive maintenance with minimal supervision
- 5Manage your daily schedule and parts inventory to keep systems running
- 6Document work performed and communicate with dispatch and customers
- 7Respond to off-hours calls when workload demands, earning overtime pay
Requirements7
- 13+ years hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration systems
- 2EPA Universal Certification required
- 3Ability to troubleshoot independently and think on your feet in the field
- 4Rack experience preferred but not required
- 5Reliable work ethic and a team-player mentality
- 6Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 7Willingness to travel within a dedicated territory in and around Atlanta
