Lead patient care for Alzheimer’s disease infusion therapy at KU Clinical Research Center. Manage outpatient nursing services and coordinate multidisciplinary care. This role drives clinical excellence and supports research initiatives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage patient flow triage and direct care
- 2Coordinate communication between front desk nursing staff and physicians
- 3Develop patient outcomes and resource utilization strategies
- 4Utilize EMR to document assessments and treatment plans
- 5Educate patients and families on dementia care and ATT therapy
- 6Maintain registry data for program safety monitoring
- 7Support clinical documentation and quality improvement efforts
- 8Assist with daily clinic operations and staff orientation
- 9Implement standard work practices and process improvements
- 10Respond to patient treatment-related phone calls
- 11Instruct patients on medication and treatment instructions
Requirements6
- 1High School Graduate Bachelor Degree Nursing
- 22 or more years of RN experience
- 3Current active multistate RN license
- 4Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- 5Excellent analytical critical thinking skills
- 6Full-time availability
