Overview
We seek an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver exceptional patient experiences at TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track in Tampa Florida. This role involves creating evidence-based treatment plans collaborating with physicians and performing independent care while adhering to established protocols.
What You'll Do11
- 1Provide evidence-based episodic care independently and in collaboration with other medical providers
- 2Perform age-appropriate history and physical examinations
- 3Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- 4Prescribe and dispense medications safely
- 5Document patient information and review histories at each visit
- 6Evaluate treatment responses and consult with physicians when appropriate
- 7Counsel patients and provide education on their conditions
- 8Perform minor procedures such as laceration repair and incision drainage
- 9Manage pediatric and adult patients for acute and chronic conditions
- 10Maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends
- 11Complete administrative tasks including reviewing lab results and prescriptions
Requirements8
- 1Current state licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Associate
- 2Current BLS certification
- 3NRCME certification for Department of Transportation exams
- 4Two years of experience as Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate
- 5Clinical experience in emergency medicine urgent care or ambulatory care settings
- 6DEA license without restrictions
- 7New graduates with significant procedural skills may be considered
- 8Ability to lift 20 lbs and sustain intermittent walking for 12 hour shifts
