Overview
The Archdiocese of Denver seeks a reliable organized mission-driven part-time Administrative Assistant to support the Office of Vocations. This role averages 20–25 hours weekly providing essential clerical assistance to ensure efficient office operations while serving leadership and staff.
What You'll Do5
- 1Provide comprehensive administrative support managing office operations procedures records databases correspondence office supplies vocation materials mail and the Office of Vocations website.
- 2Coordinate and support vocation events retreats dinners school visits mission trips seminary programs diocesan liturgical celebrations and other outreach initiatives handling logistics registrations travel lodging meals and event materials.
- 3Coordinate communications with parishes schools universities seminarians missionaries and ministry partners distributing vocation resources responding to inquiries and supporting vocation promotion through digital print and testimonial channels.
- 4Maintain accurate vocation databases track seminarian and event participation follow up with prospective candidates and attendees and cultivate relationships with parish vocation promoters volunteers and ministry partners.
- 5Demonstrate a personal commitment to the Catholic faith through prayer regular sacrament participation and a desire to accompany individuals discerning God's call.
Requirements5
- 1Fully initiated Catholic in communion of the Catholic Church aligning with the values and mission of the Church in an Apostolic Age.
- 2Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings to support the mission and activities of the Office of Vocations.
- 3Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- 4Strong written and verbal communication interpersonal engagement and teamwork abilities.
- 5Ability to maintain confidentiality handle sensitive information with discretion and effective problem solving resourcefulness and flexibility to address unanticipated challenges.
